As a fine artist, I am drawn to landscapes as my subject. Driving across the country and seeing nature has always been a passion of mine. We are given snapshots through the car window of where we are, and it's our choice to really see them. Safely detached from the smells, elements and touch of the environment, this "Highway 5" series is a study for larger paintings in progress.
